Powerlink: Innovation Inspired by Health & Safety

Mr. Lau T H, the CEO and Founder of Powerlink was formerly working with Panasonic prior to starting Powerlink. Through his years of experience, he was able to identify key elements of electronic products to take it to another level. Mr. Lau T H realised that technology and electronic devices, gadgets and appliances have become a necessity and part of our daily lives. He and Powerlink set out to invent products that not only serves its purpose electronically, but will not disrupt the health of its users, safe, and customisable to suit the needs of consumers.

Powerlink and Mr. Lau T H began producing the Powerlink UVC Lamp that can disinfect effectively, killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. The idea behind the UVC Disinfection Lamp was driven by the need for something effective and capable of providing continuous health protection. This approach helps reduce diseases caused by bacteria and viruses, ultimately increasing productivity. It aims to enhance human well-being and health, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic began.

The Modulink Sockets that we designed was also a brainchild of this visionair. The idea for the Powerlink Modulink Socket came about due to frequent international travel. Carrying standard socket extension was quite cumbersome, and the idea to create a socket that could be customised according to individual preferences came about. Thus, the Powerlink Modulink Socket was born. Fire incidents that occur due to electrical appliance malfunctions became the motivation for making it fire-resistant. Fire resistance not only safeguards assets but also protects against fire hazards.
